Terms of Service
Last updated 19 October 2026These terms govern your use of Work, provided by Nodeflame. Please read them carefully — they explain what you can expect from us and what we expect from you.
1. Acceptance of these terms
By signing in to or otherwise using Work, you agree to these terms. If you use the service on behalf of a company, you confirm that you are allowed to accept them for it. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. The service
Work is Nodeflame's project management and collaboration tool. It lets teams plan projects and tasks, track time, manage budgets, run exploratory testing and share progress with clients, including through task-request portals.
3. Accounts and access
- Accounts are created by a workspace administrator; what you can see and do depends on the role and permissions you are given.
- Keep your password confidential and do not share your account. You are responsible for activity that happens under it.
- Tell us at hello@nodeflame.com straight away if you think someone else has access to your account.
- Clients using a task-request portal must sign in with their own work e-mail address.
4. Acceptable use
When using the service, you agree not to:
- upload content that is unlawful, infringing, harmful or that you have no right to share;
- try to access projects, accounts or data you have not been given access to;
- probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the service, or interfere with how it runs;
- upload malware or use automated means to overload the service;
- copy, resell or reverse engineer the service, except where the law allows it.
5. Your content
You, or the organisation you work for, keep ownership of the content you add — tasks, comments, files, time logs and the rest. You give Nodeflame permission to store, process and display that content only as needed to provide the service. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to add it.
6. Privacy
How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
7. Intellectual property
The service itself — its software, design, logos and documentation — belongs to Nodeflame and is protected by law. These terms do not give you any rights to it beyond using the service as intended.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available and reliable, but we cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may add, change or remove features, and we may take the service offline for maintenance, giving notice where we reasonably can.
9. Suspension and termination
Workspace administrators can deactivate accounts at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken or if it is needed to protect the service or other users. Sections that by their nature should continue — such as ownership, disclaimers and limitation of liability — keep applying afterwards.
10. Disclaimers
Except where the law says otherwise, the service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose. Time, budget and report figures are tools to support your decisions; please check them before relying on them for invoicing or other commitments.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Nodeflame is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, revenue or data arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will revise the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, let you know in the app or by e-mail. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
13. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent to hello@nodeflame.com.
